Meeting Planner

About Me

I have worn many hats in my working life while trying to find the one that fits best. I graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and landed in Madison to pursue a Ph.D., but found myself drawn instead to the possibility of teaching high school. After a couple of years of working as a Quality Control Chemist, I went back to school for my teaching license. I taught high school biology and chemistry for 4 years before deciding to pursue yet another path. This time I landed at the Applied Superconductivity Center at the University of Wisconsin - Madison as a program assistant. One of the facets of this position was to plan and run meetings and conferences - at last, a hat that fits perfectly! When the center moved to Florida State University in 2006 to become a part of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, I decided to start a small business so that I could continue to plan meetings for the center. I hope to continue to be a part of the low temperature superconductivity community and to expand into other areas as well.

Personally, I am married with 2 children and a cat. When I'm not orchestrating meetings, I enjoy running (both for exercise and to keep up with my kids,) reading, cooking, and traveling.
